Dedicated to the memory of Mark Greaves

Mark Harold Greaves of Bribie Island, Australia was born on 18 July 1960 in Brisbane and passed on 4 April 2020.

A skilled chef with a classical French background and later owner/operator of a successful Go Kart shop. He was an avid fan of motorsports and brought home many trophies(which he didn't care for) & stories of camaraderie (which he absolutely delighted in) with customers and his fellow competitors for racing karts.

He relished being on the water, preferably in his boat with a fishing rod in hand and being in the company of loved ones. Mark was unrelentingly positive and was a rock to many well beyond his own family. He gave selflessly of himself and helped innumerable people through very difficult times.

His positivity and wickedly cheeky sense of humor lifted the spirits of customers, friends and family for almost 60 years & his proclivity towards flatulence was a great source of amusement and oftentimes, when paired with automatic locking windows in a car, terror.

He entertained and inspired countless people he came into contact with his well worn jokes and quips, and his warmth brightened days and illuminated whatever darkness people were going through. Mark well and truly made his little corner of the world much, much better and the people he leaves behind miss him terribly.
